GETCH teachers and students as well as several summer camp representatives paid a visit for Emmaus bakery on September 26. Virtually, GETCH foundation worked with Emmaus bakery for the summer camp and campers helped it to design fliers, a video and a shop online so camper representatives showed their project outcome.

 

At the beginning the representatives reported the results to the bakery manager including menu, video and a shop online that got high praise. After the introduction, the bakery manger also introduced the bakery history and development to us that it is the first social company which aims to support people with mental disabilities employment. Afterward, she showed us around the bakery and we made cookies by ourselves.

 

Even though the activity was only half a day, all people learned a lot from bakery and we could see the employment of people with disabilities gradually extend.
