The second periodic activity of Empower Women with Disabilities Project was held successfully on October 15 to 16. It was a two-day activity and there were two topics including social gender and drama.

 

We invited Professor Ke from Sun Yet-sen University to be the speaker for social gender on October 15. Professor Ke let participants play a game together to warm up at the beginning and then started her workshop. She explained what is social gender, femininity, stereotype and gender blindness and so on. She shared how media reports female and effects people thoughts about women. On the October 16 professor Zheng led us experience a drama workshop and participants discovered their personalities and built confidence through it.

 

These two days passed quickly! But the influence will keep in participants mind!
